'Thirteen Miles for Good' - ADRA walk. This will take place on the beautiful Millenium Coastal Path which starts at a car park off the roundabout by Loughor bridge, Bynea, near Llanelli. It overlooks the coast with fantastic views of the Gower. Our start time is 10:00 am but participants should arrive by 9:30 am. Three Missions Youth Weekend - Hebron Hall, Dinas Powys. An opportunity for young people (aged 13+) from Scotland, Ireland and Wales to get together. Fun activities and informative workshops. Pastor Cedric Vine will be doing a biblical workshop on: Why Did Jesus Die? David Wright, a Creation Scientist will be presenting: Noah's Ark: A Feasibility Study. From ADRA-UK Mark Castellino will be giving a presentation on the work of ADRA. Also, Pastor Jeremy Brooks will be holding a workshop on Christian Drama. Cost for the weekend is £71, which includes a t-shirt. Ask your local church for sponsorship - generally they'll give at least £25.00. Closing date for applications is 26 March 2007. Professional Training for Local Church Elders at two venues easily reachable from Wales: Newbold College near Bracknell, and the Camp Hill church in Birmingham. Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru. This year the Eisteddfod will be situated on the old road from Wrexham to Mold, the B5444 on the fields of Pentrehobin estate. Unfortunately the Seventh-day Adventist Church will not have a stand as we do not have enough Welsh speakers to staff it, but members are encouraged to help on the Cytun stand if they are able to.

Sabbath 8 September 2007 Grand Concert at the Swansea church, 55 Gower Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9BH. Doors open at 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start. Special guests will be The London Quartet, The All Nations Choir (from Swansea), Sujoya Paul-Bullock (harpist) as well as local talents. Cost is £5.00 per adult and £2.50 for children under 12, payable after the concert with all proceeds going to the church building fund. Refreshments will be on sale after the concert.
